| Our staff consists of Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors and Psychology Associates. The Psychology Associates work under the direct supervision of Licensed Psychologists. We divide our time between clinical work at the Human Development Center and professional positions in academic and clinical settings, which help us to integrate current knowledge with specialized expertise and skills in multiple areas. |

Dr. Szollos received his initial psychology training at Lund University in Sweden; thereafter worked for several years as Staff Psychologist at the Lund University Medical School, treating adults and children with serious psychiatric disorders. He received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Connecticut and completed his internship at the Brown University Medical School, specializing in child and adolescent disorders. Dr. Szollos has been a clinician since 1976; following several years of private practice in the Baltimore area, he established his practice in Bel Air in 1989. He works with children, teens, adults and families in psychotherapy. His clinical expertise includes problems of early childhood, ADHD, anxiety, depression, Asperger’s disorder, behavioral medicine and marital problems. For the past twenty-four years Dr. Szollos has been a faculty member at the Department of Psychology, Millersville University of PA, teaching and training graduate students. He is a Member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, The Association for Behavior and Cognitive Therapy and a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association. |

Mr. Bentzley holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University of PA, as well as a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Maryland. He has worked in a variety of mental health settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics and school-based counseling programs. His areas of expertise include family therapy, group therapy, parent training, treatment of children and teens with serious behavioral disorders, and psychological assessments. He has developed and directed social skills programs for children with ADHD and Asperger's Disorder. He has also presented numerous workshops to parents and professionals on a variety of topics. He has been involved in clinical practice since 1994, and has been with the Human Development Center since 1996. Currently, Mr. Bentzley divides his time between his work at our Clinic and as a school social worker with the Baltimore County Public School System. He is a member of the National Association of Social Workers. |

Dr. Hill received her Master's Degree in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland at College Park and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, with a minor in Neuropsychology, from Howard University. She completed her Internship at Spring Grove Hospital, treating chronically mentally ill adults, completing neuropsychological evaluations and treating children and adolescents at an outpatient center. A former high school Biology teacher, Dr. Hill also taught graduate courses in Counseling at Trinity University in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hill divides her time between serving the Bel Air community and an outpatient Clinic in Columbia. Her areas of expertise include clients with chronic mental illness, mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, teen-parent developmental issues, Asperger’s Disorder, Prader-Willi Syndrome, dissociative disorders, PTSD and helping people grow and adjust to life's transitions. She is the Member of the American Psychological Association, a Fellow of the Maryland Psychological Association and a Member of the Baltimore Society of Psychoanalytic Studies. |

Ms. Odenwalt holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University of PA. Prior to joining our practice in 2005, she worked in mental health emergency services for several years and developed special expertise in suicide and homicide risk assessments. She works with children, teens, and adults. Her areas of expertise include the assessment and treatment of Asperger’s Disorder, psychological testing, child and teen disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, women’s issues, crisis intervention and addiction treatment. She has also special expertise in developing and directing social skills training programs for children and teens with Asperger’s Disorder. Ms. Odenwalt divides her time between her work at our Clinic and teaching as Adjunct Faculty in the Psychology Department at Millersville University. She is a member of the Eastern Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and the Pennsylvania Women’s Consortium. |

Mr. Hennigan received his Master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Following seven years of teaching English in middle and high school, Mr. Hennigan developed expertise as a Behavior Specialist in alternative school settings and in working with Traumatic Loss Teams, providing therapy to grieving students and faculty. He has many years of experience counseling families and children experiencing difficulty both in the home and at school, with women exposed to abuse, and with families facing extreme hardships. Mr. Hennigan specializes in psychotherapy and social skills training for children and adults with Asperger’s Disorder in both individual and group modalities. His therapeutic work is grounded in the cognitive behavioral approach (CBT). Mr. Hennigan divides his time between his work at our Clinic and providing therapeutic services for at-risk youth and their families with the Baltimore County Public School System. |
